INNOVAWAY S.P.A., a company specialized in providing ICT services, is looking for candidates for the VMWare System Administrator position to work remotely.

The resource will be responsible for performing the following operational tasks:

• Installation and management of VMWare virtualization systems and related components (e.g., NSX, VRA, VSan) or intermediate-level knowledge of these systems.

• Installation, configuration, and management of Linux and Windows systems, managing storage requirements with volume management technologies.

• Configuration and management of services in Windows and Linux environments, such as:

  • Remote access to systems (ssh, telnet, VNC, Remote Desktop, etc.)

  • Multihomed network services

  • Web services based on Apache, Nginx, and Tomcat technologies

  • Knowledge for managing AD domains

• Troubleshooting and use of system analysis and/or monitoring tools

• Creation of automated procedures using shell scripting (bash, PowerShell)

• Preferred knowledge of tools such as Cobbler, Ansible, or other automation tools

• Use of office productivity software (MS Office, OpenOffice, etc.)

• Preferred knowledge of cloud platforms AWS/GCP
