The goal is 100 million in revenue. A milestone that Antonio Giacomini, founder and CEO of Innovaway, is determined to reach after celebrating 25 years of operation with his company. Founded with his brother and two brothers-in-law in a difficult district of Naples, the Rione Traiano, the company, specializing in technology transfer, quickly became a reference point for talented young people from the area, providing them with professional opportunities in the city. Today, the group employs over 1,000 employees, with an average age of 38 and 50% women.

ICT

ICT can be the turning point for reviving the entire South,” says Giacomini, who also founded and presides over ITS Campania, an institute for STEM training for young people who can successfully enter the job market, matching the growing demand from businesses. Research and innovation are the key threads of an industry that is experiencing rapid development and is central to the digital transition—a critical turning point for the country’s growth, according to the directives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) as part of Next Generation EU.

Strategy

Customer orientation, dynamism, and operational excellence are the three drivers Giacomini has activated to propel Innovaway towards the goals set. With ten operational offices, seven in Italy and three abroad, the company serves over 300 clients across 200 countries worldwide and has established partnerships with the top industry players. The new frontiers for investment include Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Experience in software, Cloud, Infrastructure & Security, and Global Service Desk. All this, while maintaining strong ties with the territory that gave rise to the company.
